While boasting as smaller footprint, there are some trade-offs that are made for the smaller foot. Both the water tank and the bean hopper are a little smaller. Also, there is only one spout instead of two. If you have a large family, you may need to opt for one off the Jura machines that will give you more water and bean capacity to cut down on the number of times you have to refill.
A nice feature of this machine is it will rinse the internals automatically. You still need to full clean at the end of the day but this auto rinse after inactivity or shutting down the machine this is a nice feature to have.
Hot waterspout is separate and right next to coffee spout, this way you don’t have to move the cup when making an Americano.
The Jura ENA8 has as smaller water tank (37.2 oz) verses some of the higher capacity machines. This is something that you should take into consideration if you will making a lot of coffees in a short amount of time.
It has an Intelligent Water System compatible with Jura’s Smart Filters that make it so that you never have to descale your machine again. This is a huge added convenience compared to something like the Jura A1 model.
If you like to create double espresso’s you may want to look at one of the models like Jura E8 or Jura S8 that give you the double spout.
The Jura ENA8 has the newer G3 grinder, which is quieter than the G2 grinder in the Jura A1 model. The Bypass Doser allows you to use a pre ground coffee of your choice as well.
